Corning® 384 Well Low Flange Solid Black and White
Microplates
Corning has enhanced the 384 well solid black and white microplates for greatly
improved assay performance. They are available in standard
tissue culture treated surface for cell based assays,
NBS™ surface or
untreated for homogeneous assays and high bind surface for binding assays.

Enhanced molding process results in reduced autofluorescence, higher signal to
background ratio, lower CV's, and an even meniscus giving you a more robust
assay

Choice of surfaces including the NBS™ surface for reducing nonspecific
reagent binding during assays

Enhanced flatness provides low intra- and inter-plate CV's, and is automated
liquid dispenser friendly

The Corning® Enhanced 384 Well Low Flange Black Solid Polystyrene Microplate has 20% Higher Signal to Background (S:B) than competitor plate
Lower flange allows more room for bar codes and improves robotic handling
- 20% higher signal to background (S:B) ratio than the other leading plate due to increased signal strength and reduced autofluorescence
- Greater assay sensitivity than the other leading plate due to higher S:B
- Superior bottom flatness (~100 µm) that results in reduced across plate variation
