The HTS Transwell®-96 Systems are packaged as a complete set with both reservoir and receiver plates, eliminating the need to purchase parts separately. They come with:

• 96 well permeable support insert with choice of either 0.4 µm pore size PC or 1.0 µm pore size PET membranes
• Untreated Reservoir plate (single well feeder plate) – with removable media stabilizer
• Untreated 96 well Receiver plate – for assay use
• Lids (2) – minimize evaporation and protect against contamination

The HTS Transwell®-96 permeable supports for chemotaxis, cell migration or invasion studies come with a receiver plate and lid:

• All membranes are treated for cell attachment

HTS Transwell®-96 Receiver Plates are available either tissue culture treated for cell attachment or untreated.

HTS Transwell®-96 Accessories

HTS Transwell®-96 Receiver Plates have 96 individually isolated wells that are tissue culture treated for cell attachment. They are available in either clear (Cat. No. 3382) or in black (Cat. No. 3583) polystyrene.

• Tissue culture treated Receiver plates can be used for co-culture studies or other applications requiring cell attachment.
• When used with HTS Transwell®-96 permeable inserts, the Receiver plate allows convenient pipette access to both apical and basolateral sides of each well (manual or automated).
• Black Receiver plates (Cat. No. 3583) are treated for cell attachment for use in fluorescent applications.

HTS Transwell®-96 Reservoir Plates (Cat. No. 3383) have a removable media stabilizer to minimize sloshing during plate movement.

HTS Transwell®-96 Reservoir Plates (Cat. No. 3383) have an open reservoir for cell growth and feeding stage and are not treated for cell attachment.

• When used with an HTS Transwell®-96 insert, the tray allows for convenient multi-channel pipette access (manual or automated) along the A1- A8 side.
• Removable media stabilizer minimizes sloshing when moving and filling plates
• Design minimizes contamination when changing media and prevents cross contamination when medium is switched during cell growth step
