Filling caps with attached hydrophobic filters provide for gas exchange and faster aseptic venting during liquid transfers.

Cat. No. 3281 Vent cap with 3/8" (9.5 mm) ID tubing and a 50 mm diameter hydrophobic 0.22 µm membrane filter. This filter is recommended for filling rates less than 2 L/minute.

Cat. No. 3284 Vent cap with 1/4" (6.4 mm) ID tubing and a 37 mm diameter hydrophobic glass fiber depth filter. This filter is recommended for filling rates greater than 2 L/minute.

Extra sterile vented or unvented 33 mm replacement caps are also available.

Cat. No. 3279 Unvented replacement caps are available for culture conditions where gas exchange is unwanted.

Cat. No. 3280 Standard vented replacement caps have hydrophobic membranes to allow gas exchange.
