The innovative products to use in your mission are:


Corning® CellBIND® Surface – a novel surface for improved cell attachment

 


Corning HYPERFlask® Cell Culture Vessel -a novel cell culture vessel with 1720cm2 growth area with a T-175 flask footprint

 


Ultra-Web™ Synthetic Surface - a polyamide nanofiber that mimics the architecture of the extra-cellular matrix

 


Corning Ultra-Low Attachment Surface
- a unique hydrogel surface that inhibits cell attachment

These products have been proven to help either increase cell yield and/or function many cell lines.

Grants will be awarded for research which delivers more successful results than you’ve had in the past in one of the following fields:

  • Cellular neurobiology
  • Immunology
  • Stem Cells: Adult or Embryonic
  • Primary Cells
  • Cancer Cells
  • Cellular Mechanisms of Diseases

The Grants
Corning will present a total of 20 free product Grant Awards ranging from $2,000 to a first prize of $25,000, or local currency product equivalent. Free product will be subject to local availability and will be valued at local list price.

Winners
Winners’ research will be published on our website and will also be available for distribution and promotional purposes at trade shows and other events. Applications will be judged by a panel of Corning scientists and/or independent scientists, and 20 winners will be announced on June 30, 2009.
