THE FOSSEY FUND HAS PROTECTED AND MONITORED GORILLAS FOR MORE THAN FOUR DECADES.

LEARN MORE ABOUT THE FOSSEY FUND'S DEDICATION TO GORILLA CONSERVATION.

Corning® Gorilla® Glass is named for a gorilla's attributes of toughness and beauty. Out of respect for these majestic animals, Corning supports the gorilla protection and monitoring efforts of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International.

Founded by Dian Fossey in 1978, the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International is dedicated to the conservation and protection of gorillas and their habitats in Africa. The organization is committed to promoting research on gorillas and providing education about their relevance to the world in which we live.

The Fossey Fund has initiatives throughout Africa that make a difference in gorilla conservation. Collaboration with partners allows the Fossey Fund to operate tracking and anti-poaching patrols, health and education for nearby communities, and to help support specialized facilities for rescued gorillas. Through direct protection of gorillas and their habitat, the Fossey Fund helps to ensure the survival of this highly endangered species.

Corning has been a proud sponsor of the Fossey Fund since October 2011.
