Fusion-Formed Glass
Jade offers LTPS customers several benefits associated with Corning's
proprietary fusion process. With the introduction of Jade glass, Corning is
able to deliver a flat, pristine surface with exceptional surface quality and
dimensional control. Jade is the first glass for LTPS that will be used
"as-formed," with no secondary heat treatment or polishing needed. This allows
customers to move to tighter design rules, and to integrate more components
directly onto the glass.
