Certification Exams
Corning installation classes are approved by both the Electronics Technician Association International (ETA®) and the Fiber Optic Association (FOA) for a Fiber Optic Installer (FOI) certification.
While the listed Corning Courses should help reinforce the concepts needed to pass these exams, Corning Cable Systems strongly recommends that students read the exam requirements on the ETA and FOA Web sites and study the recommended material prior to attending the class. ETA- and FOA-recommended books are not provided in our classes; it is the student's responsibility to obtain these materials on their own.
