TS LAN 501
"To the Point" Training Class: Practical Factors
TS LAN 501 is a one-day course. After you take this class, all the mystery and confusion associated with fiber optics will be a thing of the past. The following topics are covered: learning how fiber works from the ground up to give the installer a solid knowledge base; shedding light on how fiber is manufactured, explaining what everyone means when discussing ‘attenuation’ and ‘dispersion’, understanding what exactly the differences are between multimode and single mode fiber, and discovering how to pick the correct cable type and hardware for your specific application.
TS LAN 502
"To the Point" Training Class: Splicing and OTDRs
TS LAN 502 is a one-day course. You will learn all the proper techniques and tips to make your job easier when it comes to fusion and mechanical splicing. Also in this class, you will learn the theory and details behind testing and setup and operation of an OTDR.
TS LAN 503
"To the Point" Training Class: Connector Installation
TS LAN 503 is a one-day course. The installer will learn the proper techniques to install both factory-polished, no-epoxy/no-polish connectors and hand-polished, anaerobic connectors. Both Multimode and Single-mode single fiber connectors are covered.
