Corning Cable Systems Training Class Cancellation Policy

A credit card number must be supplied 6 or more business days in advance to honor any/all discount(s) on classes. Credit cards for the class price (list minus applicable discounts) will be billed no sooner than the week the training class occurs.  Credit cards will be billed for late cancellations or no-shows per the policy listed below:

Cancellation Actions:

Person/Entity   Corning Action   Timing
Student Cancels  No amount will be billed  > 5 working days from start of the class
Corning Cancels Class  Student is not billed for training, student is notified of any rescheduling of classes  ≥ 5 working days from the start of the class
Student Cancels  Student is billed 80 % of the price quoted for that class*  ≤ 5 working days from start of the class
Student “No-Shows” the day of the class  Student is billed 100 % of the price quoted for that class

Customer Site class cancels or reschedules  All unrecoverable expenses will be billed at cost  ≤ 5 working days from start of the class

*Notes:
This amount may be discounted from a future equivalent class if the class is taken within 6 months from the date the student is informed of this payment.  The letter sent to the student will serve as a coupon for this discount.
