Dome Closure
In dome closure configuration, all cables are fed into the closure on one side only. The closure body is in general, formed like a canister. With excess length of cables stored preferably in a ring, the complete closure can be taken away from the storage location to a work station for installation or maintenance. Also for fibre managements installed and placed preferably in a vertical position, a dome closure configuration is of importance. Thus, dome configured closures are mainly installed on poles of aerial lines or in manholes or ducted, respectively of direct buried lines.
