Indoor Cables

As a rule, Long Haul and Access / FTTH networks ended within a building. The last piece of inner cable was then used for security and flexibility needed to be ensure (i.e.: double sheath: for security and to secure the network but also fire protection, Flex. Multiple applications, but also mechanically flexible). So the for the last few meters not to break it was recommended that fibre and cable from Corning were used.

  • MPC cables:

Multipurpose cables can be deployed both indoor and outdoors for campus backbone and building backbone, as well as floor distribution and terminal equipment.

  • Single fibre cables:

Single-fibre tight-buffered cables can be used as pigtails, patch cords and jumpers.

  • i-MIC cables:

Multifibre indoor cables are particularly suitable for placing and pulling into cable conduits and shafts, also as under-floor and for jumpers and adapter cable.

  • T-VHH cables:

Breakout cables that utilize the 900 µm tight-buffered fibre with TB3 coating, it could be with 2.8mm or 2.0mm subunits. They could also be used as inter-building cables.
