Emerging Technology Seminar, October 14th, America Square Conference Centre
Corning Cable Systems is pleased to invite you to this year's Emerging Technology Seminar which will take place in London at the America Square Conference Centre on October 14th .
Corning Cable Systems will be joined by prominent speakers from Corning Optical fibre and Juniper in a series of presentations to address the challenges and opprotunities facing today's data centres and the latest in fibre optics.
The sessions will review:
- OM3 and OM4 fibre – 40G and 100G standards and future proof solutions for data centre
- 40G and 100G Ethernet – considerations for parallel optics in the data centre
- Safe evolvement of the data centre network to 40G and 100G Ethernet
- Indoor Distributed Antenna System (IDAS) – Corning’s world class cabling solutions with an innovative family of optoelectronics to “Enable All Things Wireless”
In its interactive product fair, Corning will showcase its Pretium EDGE Solutions (corning.com/cablesystems/emea/pretiumedge), which allow for up to 35 percent faster deployment; enable up to 25 percent faster moves, adds and changes (MACs); and offer up to 100 percent more density than traditional preterminated solutions.
Corning will also perform a live demonstration of the difference in bit error rates of cables with ultra-bendable performance enabled by ClearCurve multimode fibre vs. standard 50 micron cables. Customers will experience first hand how using Corning cables with ultra-bendable performance can significantly minimize the risk of bit error rates and network downtime associated with common macrobend events in the data centre.
The Seminar will be followed by a networking reception.
