FTTH Advantage Floor Distribution Terminal
At the individual floor levels within the building, operation & installation personnel are then able to select a Distribution Terminal per floor. The FTTH Advantage Floor Distribution Terminal is specifically designed to be installed on each level of a multi-dwelling unit (MDU) building; serving as the transition point between the riser and the horizontal cable as well as providing operators with optimum flexibility.
The floor distribution terminals can be installed either prior to or post riser installation and the 2m storage capability available for each tether enables slack storage for any connector or riser repair. The connectors used provide a valuable Test Access Point which eliminates the need to cut, test & re-splice during commissioning and during maintenance in the fault location.
