WEEE Information for Corning Customers and Recyclers

Under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive and implementing regulations, when customers buy new electrical and electronic equipment from Corning they are entitled to:

  • Send old equipment for recycling on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis (this varies depending on the country)
  • Send the new equipment back for recycling when this ultimately becomes waste

Instructions to both customers and recyclers/treatment facilities wishing to obtain disassembly information are provided by following the links to the left.

Are you a recycler / treatment facility wanting information on how to disassemble and recycle a Corning product?

As part of compliance with the WEEE Directive, Corning provides recycling information upon request for all types of new equipment put on the market in Europe after August 13, 2005. To receive recycling instructions for Corning electrical and electronic equipment put on the market after August 2005 or if you would like information about distributors of Corning products, please contact us via email.
