LANscape® Solutions — 10G Tray Fill Rate Calculator

The Tray Fill Rate Calculator calculates the amount of remaining space available for use in the cable tray once the number of copper or fiber cables required to serve the user-entered number of circuits has been deployed. For example, a wire tray showing 12% available space for additional CAT6A cables means that 88% of the cable tray's total usable capacity has been taken up by the CAT6A cables already deployed for the 10G circuits. (Per industry practice, 50% of the total space of the cable tray has been eliminated prior to calculation, as industry standards recommend no more than 50% fill for any cable tray.)
